The Bharat Mobility Expo has welcomed Tata, flaunting an array of exhibits.
Among them, the much-awaited Curvv took the spotlight alongside the Nexon EV, Safari Black Edition, Nexon CNG, Altoz Racer, and the Harrier EV. Adorned in a distinct Seaweed Green paint scheme, the Harrier EV, making its debut at the 2023 Auto Expo in Delhi, is finally unveiled.
Expected to hit the market in 2025, the Harrier EV will be built on the new Activ.EV architecture. Anticipated to embrace an AWD layout due to the platform’s capabilities, it will showcase the familiar family design seen on recent Tata models and incorporate modern features, including ADAS.
While official details on the powertrain are still pending, adjustments to the EV drivetrain are expected, possibly featuring a larger battery pack and increased power output. A leaked image suggested a range of approximately 500 kms for the Harrier EV.
Benefiting from the new platform, the road-ready Harrier EV will boast more cabin space than its ICE counterpart, with the charging port relocating to the front. The production-ready model’s design is likely to closely resemble the one unveiled at the Bharat Mobility stage. The cabin will include the recognized 12.3-inch floating screen from the Nexon EV, complemented by an all-digital driver’s display and other contemporary features.
Further details regarding the Harrier EV are anticipated closer to its scheduled launch next year.
